"Venice. Before the storm.", 2009, oil on hardboard, 25 x 40 cm.
This work shows the Grand Canal in Venice on a stormy day. It is the first of my works with Venice. The sky is dark here, but the buildings are light. There are some boats around, the green trees between the houses bring some life into the scene.

"New York. Bright Silence.", 2013, acrylic on canvas, 50 x 70 cm.
This is one of my recent works made with acrylic colors. It shows the Times Square at night after the rain. There are no people, it's quiet, but the bright colors and lights remain stressing the everlasting dynamics of the big city. The bright light forms the center of the composition while the dark post makes a major contrast.
