This work shows a street in the city of Edinburgh in evening. There is much traffic in the street, so it is full of bright colors. The color spots make the scene more dynamic.

This is one of my recent works made with acrylic colors. It shows the Times Square at night after the rain. The scene is abstract and bright, the lights and buildings reflect in the water. The street is empty, with just one person walking. The contrast between the lightest spot and the dark silhouette is the center of the composition.

This work shows a canal in evening Venice. There is a bridge in the center of the scene, the lights in the background make the main contrast. The main color is blue, but there are many bright warm spots. The scene is quiet and calm.

This is one of my recent works made with acrylic colors. It shows the Times Square at night. It rains, but there are many people with umbrellas walking. The picture is a bit abstract, the major sense is in colors. The light in the background and dark umbrellas in the foreground create the main contrast.

This work shows an evening view which is best-known in Venice. The scene contains bright colors. the lightest parts of the buildings are the center of the composition. Though the scene is bright, it is still calm and spectacular.

 This work shows a sunset over the river with forest on the coast. The sky is interesting and has many colorful clouds. The sky reflects in the water. The coasts are bright green.

This work was made on plain-air, it shows a forest in November. It is cold, the sky is full of contrast warm and cold colors. The trees are bright, some of them have already lost the leaves. There are many colors in the grass, too. There are some hills in the background.

"Nikolskoe. Temple. Silence.", 2012, oil on canvas, 60 x 70 cm.

This work is one of the series dedicated to the orthodox temples of my native region. It shows a bright scene with a temple over the river rising above the small houses. The sky is bright and stresses the temple. Though there are many houses around, the temple remains separate, calm and majestic and is in the center of the composition. This symbolizes the priority of spiritual values over the daily troubles.

"Italy. Vatican. Cathedral.", 2011, oil on hardboard, 70 x 50 cm.

 This work has been inspired by the movie "Da Vinci Code". It shows a view of St Paul's Cathedral in Rome in the evening. The scene is mostly dark blue with warm spots of yellow and brown where the lights appear. The composition consists of the rows of streets completed by the great building of cathedral, which forms the center of the scene.

This work shows a bright evening street in Italy. There are different light sources, natural and artificial. There are plenty of colors in the scene. The arc lighted with a lamp forms the center of the composition with its bright color.

This work is one of the series dedicated to the orthodox temples of my native region. It shows an autumn scene with a church reflecting in the river and hills with forest in the background.The sky is bright blue, so is the water with reflecting sky, trees and buildings. There are many bright spots. The light branches in the foreground complete the scene.

This is one of my recent works made with acrylic colors. It shows the Times Square at night after the rain.There are no people, it's quiet, but the bright colors and lights remain stressing the everlasting dynamics of the big city. The bright light forms the center of the composition while the dark post makes a major contrast.

 This is one of my very first paintings in oil. It shows a part of a small village in the cold winter evening. There is much snow, and there is a bright sunset in the sky. The cold colors of the ground are in contrast with the warm sky.

This work was meant to show the beauty of winter. The main idea is the compilation of cold and warm colors. There is a sun shining, the sky is warm and light, while the ground is cold and snowy. The small houses create the feeling of cosiness.
