"Svyatogorye. Winter. Temple of All Saints.", 2012, oil on canvas, 60 x 70 cm.

This work is one of the series dedicated to the orthodox temples of my native region. It shows a winter scene with a wooden church in warm colors and vivid decorative sky. The center of the composition aroynd the temple is stressed by the light and warm sky. The absence of details in the foreground draws more attention to the temple itself.

"Crystal morning in winter.", 2011, oil on hardboard, 56 x 71 cm.

This work was meant to show the beauty of winter. The main idea is the compilation of cold and warm colors. There is a sun shining, the sky is warm and light, while the ground is cold and snowy. The small houses create the feeling of cosiness.

"Ice And Sun.", 2011, oil on hardboard, 70 x 50 cm.

This painting is about winter - frosty days, ice and bright sunsets. The picture shows a sunset over a river covered with pieces of ice, a pier and a city far away. The choice of colors is meant to show the cold winter atmosphere. The reflections in the water create the depth of the scene.
